The musicians “Halkina of Goumenissa” with their lively sound have managed to leave their footprint in music. Their repertoire counts numerous collaborations with Greek and foreign musicians as well as concerts. The instruments used are trumpets, trombones, clarinets and drums. This kind of music made its appearance in the beginning of the 20th century in Western Macedonia and the Balkans. The music tradition of Goumenissa passes from generation to generation and the region is now the birthplace of brilliant musicians.
